In a nutshell, you will be working closely with an individual pupil or groups of pupils to provide dedicated support, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and participate in school life. Your role is about more than just academic help; it is about building a secure, trusting relationship that empowers the children. Key Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of the specific needs of the pupils to provide effective 1:1 or group support. Implementing planned learning activities, observing achievements, and maintaining records to monitor progress and inform assessment. Assisting with personal care programmes—including hygiene, toileting, eating, and drinking—to encourage independence and dignity. Planning and providing practical assistance for physical needs, such as mobility and the organisation of learning equipment. Adhering to all school Safeguarding Policies and reporting concerns through the appropriate channels Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a patient, kind, and organised individual who shares our belief in education that goes well beyond the academic. We are looking for someone with: Qualifications: GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths. Experience: Experience working within an educational setting is essential; experience working with SEND pupils is highly valued. Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
