We have an exciting
and rare opportunity to welcome a new member to our family as we prepare to
open our brand-new Enhanced Resource Base (ERB) for pupils with autism in
September 2026. This is a chance to help shape, grow and lead a brand-new
provision at its very beginning, and we hope that person might be you!
We are looking for
an Enhanced Resource Base Teacher who:
Places children at the
centre of every decision and builds warm, nurturing and trusting
relationships.
Is a skilled, reflective
practitioner with experience of supporting pupils with autism.
Can lead the day‑to‑day
provision for up to 10 pupils within the new ERB, ensuring high
expectations.
Can act as the school’s
autism specialist, promoting best practice and guiding colleagues.
Brings creativity,
enthusiasm and a commitment to shaping a quality brand‑new provision.
Works collaboratively and
with a positive, team‑focused approach and can manage a small team of
Teaching Assistants.
Works closely with families,
external professionals and mainstream class teachers to support pupil
progress, smooth transitions and meaningful inclusion.
Can oversee and complete
statutory paperwork, including EHCP reviews, ensuring high‑quality, timely
and accurate documentation.
