Deputy SENDCO Start date September 2026 Contract Full time, Permanent Salary Attractive - WMAT Teachers Pay Scale £34,398 - £52,490 FTE plus TLR2B currently £5,865 per annum We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, innovative and inspirational teacher and SENDCO with the passion and enthusiasm to fulfil a key role in the school as Deputy SENDCO. The Deputy SENDCO leads the SEND Team, in partnership with the Assistant Principal: Inclusion, Assistant SENDCO’s, Progress Coaches (Teaching Assistants) and PA to the SENDCO’s who all work in close partnership with parents and carers and liaise with a wide range of external professionals. We are looking for someone who is passionately committed to inclusive education, and who can ensure that all of our students can access the curriculum, make excellent progress and thrive throughout their time at Weydon. This post would suit somebody who is either a fully qualified SENDCO or someone looking to undertake the SENDCO qualification who has a proven track record and experience working within SEND, EHCP processes and statutory frameworks. You will be willing to lead change and contribute to whole school improvement, be confident in using data to evaluate impact and to improve outcomes and you will be a calm, credible and inspiring leader able to motivate, challenge and to support others.
