About the Role Wath Academy is a large, vibrant 11-18 secondary school serving the community of Wath-upon-Dearne and beyond. Core Purpose of the Role Lead the delivery of an exceptional, ambitious and inclusive curriculum that enables every young person to achieve highly and go on to live successful and fulfilling lives. Ensure that barriers to learning, including those linked to social disadvantage, are systematically removed so that all students have equitable opportunities and choices. Further establish the Academy as a force for good within its community, championing the power of education to drive social mobility and long-term community transformation. Inspire, develop and empower staff to deliver consistently high standards, fostering a culture where all colleagues feel valued and committed to making a meaningful difference.
