Part-Time Teacher of Boys' PE (Physical Education)

About this Role We are seeking a Teacher of Boys' PE on a part-time basis of between 0.5 to 0.6 FTE from September 2026. Kirkby Stephen Grammar School is part of Cumbria Education Trust. The candidate should be an excellent classroom practitioner, reflective in their teaching practice and focused on getting the best from every student across all key stages of the secondary curriculum, including KS5. The successful candidate will: Possess a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Bed) Experience of teaching GCSE and A Level PE Be an excellent communicator Ensure high standards of teaching across the curriculum and have a commitment to challenging learners to achieve well Be a passionate, caring and inspirational leader and teacher Be self-motivated and reliable Be enthusiastic about current research on thinking skills and building learning power.
