Job Opportunity: Teacher of Science Salary: MPS / UPS Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time Start date: September 2026 or earlier At St Augustine Academy, we are dedicated to developing curious minds and fostering a love for learning. Our science department is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Science Teacher to become a valuable member of our successful team. If you’re eager to inspire students, create engaging lessons, and help shape the next generation of scientists, we would love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver high-quality science lessons up to and including GCSE Use a diverse range of teaching strategies to engage students in their learning. Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to aid their learning. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and ensure consistency across department. Prepare students with the knowledge and skills for science exams and assessments. Informal visits are welcome. CV’s will not be accepted. Applications will be considered as they are received.
