Higher Level Teaching Assistant

32.5 hrs per week, term time only plus INSET days, working at

Emmanuel Anglican/Methodist Junior School in a very supportive Trust

This is a full-time, fixed

term post working 32.5 hours per week, term time plus five INSET days.

Emmanuel Junior Academy are seeking a

diligent and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant with good interpersonal

skills and high standards. In return, we can promise a school full of amazing

We

wish to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious Higher Level Teaching Assistant

to join our team.The successful candidate will be working with

individuals, small groups and within whole classes to impact on children’s

learning. They will need excellent communication skills, the ability to

engage and motivate children and will be a committed member of the whole school

team. This role will also include promoting positive play and behaviour

in the playground during playtimes and lunchtime sessions.

The

successful applicant will need to work collaboratively with the class teacher,

respond sensitively and confidently to the needs of children. Applicants applying for the post must already

hold a relevant recognised NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

qualification. The successful candidate must have a minimum of Grade

C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), and experience of working in a

primary school setting.
