Thank you for your interest in the post of Inclusion Teacher
at Reedley Primary School. We would like to appoint a nurturing and
reflective practitioner to oversee and deliver learning to a small group of children
who are currently unable to access full time, mainstream education. The
successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and high-quality
teaching and learning for three small groups of children with differing needs,
including sensory needs.
The Inclusion Teacher will: -
Take a strategic role in designing the
learning environment. -
Work with a team of support staff to deliver
effective teaching and learning in a calm and organised space. -
Help to adapt the Equals Curriculum and Primary
Curriculum for our children. -
Bring learning to life through creative,
motivating and inclusive learning experiences to ensure strong progress for
every child. -
Work closely with support staff, deploying
them effectively, to enhance learning and maximise impact. -
Set challenging yet accessible learning tasks
that stimulate curiosity and engagement. -
Help pupils re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence,
develop regulation and make meaningful academic and personal progress from
their starting points. -
Reflect thoughtfully on their practice, using
evaluation to continually improve teaching and learning. Successful applicants will need at least 3 years working as a classteacher and will be able to provide an inclusive, high quality, challenging and effective learning
environment which promotes high quality learning experiences for all children. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in
