About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School This is a permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is Β£22,004 and the full time equivalent is Β£25,583 Grade 3. We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual for an Administrative Assistant to join Pear Tree High School, a welcoming and inclusive school committed to supporting pupils, staff and families. This is a key role within the school office, providing high-quality administrative support and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the school. We’re looking for: Experience of general clerical, administrative and financial work Good numeracy and literacy skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload Confidence using ICT systems, including Word, Excel and databases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling data and financial information Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Flexibility and a proactive approach to work A commitment to safeguarding, equality and supporting pupil wellbeing Willingness to undertake first aid training Main purpose of the job: To provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the school To support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks To assist with the organisation, documentation and minute-taking of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings To contribute to the efficient running of the school office To work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupils and the wider school community How to apply:Please follow the online application process to be considered for this role.
