The Coleshill School is seeking a dynamic Lead Teacher of Social Sciences to drive excellence across our Humanities provision and make a lasting impact on student outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or aspiring middle leader to take ownership of a key curriculum area, including subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, and related disciplines. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for Social Sciences across Key Stages 4 and 5 Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking Monitor and raise student achievement through effective assessment and intervention Support and develop colleagues within the department Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities What you'll need to succeed A strong track record of excellent teaching and outcomes Demonstrate passion for Social Sciences and student success The ability to lead, motivate, and develop others Be committed to continuous improvement and innovation Thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment What you'll get in return A supportive and ambitious leadership team.
