Drive high-quality teaching and learning for pupils with complex SEND. Support curriculum development, assessment, and staff coaching. Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, working with external agencies to keep pupils safe. Contribute to strategic planning, school improvement, and staff wellbeing. Build strong relationships with parents, governors, and the wider community. Assist the Headteacher in monitoring and supporting the work of the staff team to identify individual and whole school staff training needs and requirements. Sharing of expertise ensuring the implementation of statutory and local frameworks for staff appraisal and performance management. Motivate and enable teachers, including senior and middle leaders and support staff to develop expertise in their respective roles through high-quality continuing professional development. Ensure that professional duties are fulfilled, as specified in the most recent Terms and Conditions of Service of Teachers, in line with teaching standards (2011). What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree Proven leadership experience and a strong teaching track record. Expertise in SEND and inclusive education.
