Based in Stevenage, with an expanding satellite provision in Dunstable, we are looking to appoint a highly organised, professional and compassionate SEN Administrator to join our dedicated team. The Role This is a varied and rewarding role, providing high-quality administrative support to the schoolβs SEND systems and wider office functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate records, effective communication with families and professionals, and smooth day-to-day administration across the school. The post will also include supporting attendance processes and providing general administrative cover when required. Key Responsibilities SEND Administration Maintain accurate and confidential pupil SEND records. Support the administration of EHCP annual reviews, consultations and related paperwork. Liaise with parents/carers, local authorities and external agencies. Assist leaders with tracking documentation, reports and pupil information. Ensure statutory deadlines are met and documentation is compliant. Attendance Support Support daily attendance monitoring processes. Contact families regarding absences and follow up unexplained absences. Produce attendance reports and assist leaders in improving pupil attendance. Work closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams where attendance concerns arise. General Administration Provide reception/office cover as required. Respond to calls, emails and visitor enquiries professionally. Support with filing, data entry, letters and general office systems. Assist with school events, meetings and communication. Provide occasional administrative support to the Dunstable satellite provision. About You We are looking for someone who: Has excellent administrative and organisational skills. Is confident using Microsoft Office and school management systems (or able to learn quickly). Has strong attention to detail and can manage multiple priorities. Communicates warmly and professionally with families and professionals. Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding. Is calm, resilient and able to work in a busy school environment. Ideally has experience working in education or SEND settings. Why Join Larwood School?
