Breakfast Club and Midday Supervisor

We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Breakfast Club and Midday Supervisor. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to creating a safe, happy and welcoming school environment. Key Responsibilities Breakfast Club Prepare and serve simple, nutritious breakfasts in line with food hygiene standards Ensure the Breakfast Club runs smoothly and safely Supervise children before the start of the school day Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction Lunchtime Supervision Supervise pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and playground Promote a happy, calm and inclusive lunchtime atmosphere Encourage good manners, positive play and healthy eating Support children’s wellbeing and ensure their safety at all times We are looking for someone who: Puts children first- at the heart of everything you do; Takes part in the planning of and oversee a varied programme of activities. Supervises, leads and assists children in games and activities whilst encouraging good behaviour in accordance with the core values of the school. Takes responsibility, along with other staff, for the health and safety, accident prevention and smooth running of emergency procedures for both children and other members of staff. Understands and follows the school’s Child Protection policy. Assists with the setting out and clearing up of any equipment. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Takes part in staff training as offered. Carries out any reasonable requests from designated Line Manager or SLT. Works within a team with other staff. Supervises, leads and assists children in the lunch hall. The hours would be as follows: 7.45 - 8.45am - Breakfast Club Monday to Friday 11.50 - 1.05pm - Lunchtime - Tuesday and Thursday We are really conscious of looking after our team members and so also offer: An Employee Assistance Programme.
