About the role

We are looking to appoint a full-time class teacher from September 2026, teaching in one of our Year 1 classes. South Norwood is a fantastic school to start your teaching career, or to further develop it and move into middle leadership roles within the school or wider academy trust. We have a stable and happy staff team who work in year group teams for planning and sharing workload. Although this is a role listed to start in the new academic year, please note that our INSET days are on 27th and 28th August. We are a two-form entry school in the South Norwood area of Croydon, with an 'Enhanced Learning Provision' in the heart of a vibrant community and with excellent transport links. More importantly, we have amazing children and a large team of staff who work hard to ensure that everyone learns to succeed.
