Class Teacher

What We Are Looking For

Essential

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum

Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for behaviour

Ability to assess, monitor, and raise pupil attainment

Commitment to inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Desirable

Experience of teaching in a Catholic school or supporting a faith ethos

Understanding of the principles of Catholic education

Experience of subject leadership or curriculum development

A track record of improving pupil outcomes

Familiarity with phonics and mastery approaches in maths
