Teacher of Health and Social Care with PE (Maternity Cover) Rugby Free Secondary School Rugby Free Secondary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Health and Social Care with PE to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across both Health & Social Care and Physical Education, helping them develop a strong understanding of health, wellbeing, human development, and physical fitness. You will deliver engaging lessons that combine academic knowledge with practical application, supporting students to make meaningful connections between their learning and real-life contexts. The successful candidate will encourage students to think critically about health, lifestyle, and physical activity, while developing their practical skills in a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment. A key focus will be fostering confidence, independence, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards both classroom and practical learning. You will be expected to adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities and learning styles, ensuring all students are fully engaged, appropriately challenged, and supported to achieve their full potential.
