Salary: NJC Grade F: £35,412 - £39,152 Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (Monday to Friday Between 7:45am - 6pm). We are seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative Nursery Manager to join our dedicated team at South Brent Primary School. In this pivotal year-round role, you will have the opportunity to manage and shape the provision in our new nursery setting, due to open in September 2026. The nursery will open on the school site in a modern EYFS building, offering full‑day care for children aged 0–5 and housing our current Reception Class. This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery manager to join the new headteacher and EYFS Lead in developing an excellent provision for local children and families; you’ll be making, shaping and supporting decisions on environment, curriculum and operational systems, as part of a strong school team. You will work closely with the EYFS Lead in the Reception Class, as well as being involved in recruiting and building the team of nursery staff you will lead. This role offers a rewarding leadership opportunity with excellent support in place. This full time position will include 25 days of paid holiday time, plus bank holidays. 20 days of this allocation must be taken when the nursery is closed. Importantly, during school holidays you will continue to have access to Trust staff who work year‑round, ensuring professional guidance, advice and support are always available.
