About the role

At Belleville Wix Academy (BWA) the opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate SENDCO. We are open to this being either a full time or part time role. If you work for us part time, you will work as SENDCO three days a week. If you join us full time , we can explore the opportunities such as teaching for two days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the learning experiences of our pupils. To work with the school leadership team and the Q1E Directors of SEND, to develop and articulate an ambitious vision for SEND provision To implement the plans, systems, structures, training and resources to achieve this vision. Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Holds or is willing to work towards the National SENCo Award / NPQ for SENCOs Strong knowledge of the SEN code of practice Experience in supporting the development of colleagues Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. A passion for raising standards and achieving the best outcomes for all pupils. A proactive and reflective leader who embraces professional growth.
