Finance Assistant (12 months fixed term -maternity cover) Salary: Grade 7A/B - £28,598 - £29,540 per annum, pro rata (pay award pending) Full time 37 hrs per week - p art time 30 hours and term time working available for the right candidate This post offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic finance administrator to join the highly acclaimed Cumbria Education Trust, the largest school-based multi-academy trust in Cumbria. We are seeking to appoint an additional Finance Assistant to support the work in out central Finance Team. You will be primarily located at the Trust’s main offices in Brampton. Why Join Us? As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all processes. You will work closely with staff (central team and schools) and suppliers to maintain high standards of financial control and help deliver best value for money.
