About the role

Site Manager Salary: Thurrock Band D Point 20 - 25 £27,878.92 - £31,641.89 per annum 7.00am - 3.30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (Split shifts will be considered for this role) 30 hours per week  52 weeks per year  20 days annual leave Start Date: June 2026 We are looking for a practical and well-motivated person to work at Warren Primary School. The role will include a wide range of responsibilities and duties connected with ground and facilities maintenance of the site including being a key holder responsible for opening and locking up the school. Under the direction of the Headteacher and the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust H&S department, you will also carry out Health and Safety checks in accordance with Trust policies to ensure the school remains compliant, and line manage site staff.   The successful candidate will be: A hands-on individual who can maintain, develop and implement systems and procedures Practical; with good DIY skills Able to contribute to projects and maintenance schedules Self-motivated and willing to work on your own initiative  Adaptable regarding hours of work to meet the needs of the school   Able to communicate effectively with contractors and central functions Warren Primary School is committed to working in partnership with children, parents, carers and the wider community to ensure success for all pupils in all areas of their lives.
