About the role

We are looking for a teacher to work within our mainstream secondary school, teaching Maths to students with SEND and SEMH needs, as well as delivering mainstream Maths lessons. Experience of working with these students is preferred but we would be willing to consider candidates with a willingness to learn about their needs and provision. Our Maths department enjoys excellent GCSE results, and a strong team who support each other to improve further. About the role: Teaching Maths to a range of students including mainstream classes to GCSE and students with SEMH and SEND needs in our Learning Support and Enhanced Provision units. Willingness to work with a range of colleagues in the Maths and SEND departments. Understanding of trauma-informed practice and a willingness to learn how to support the needs of these students.
