KS2 Teacher with SENCO Responsibility Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive rural setting? Kneesall C of E Primary School is seeking a passionate KS2 Teacher with SENCO responsibility to join our close-knit team from September 2026. We welcome applications for full or part-time hours. About the Role This unique position involves teaching a mixed-age class of Years 3 and 4 pupils while leading and coordinating our Special Educational Needs provision. You will play a pivotal role in supporting pupils with additional needs and ensuring their success within our inclusive community. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching to a mixed-age Year 3 and 4 class, inspiring a keen love of learning. Lead the school’s SENCO duties, including coordinating support plans, liaising with parents and external agencies, and monitoring pupil progress. Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive strategies and interventions. Contribute actively to the school’s Christian ethos and community spirit. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and leadership skills. Required Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching KS2 pupils, ideally in mixed-age classes. Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective pedagogy Proven ability or willingness to take on SENCO responsibilities. Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs legislation and best practises. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
