About the role

Are you motivated by helping young people shape their futures and make confident, aspirational and well‑informed choices about work, apprenticeships, or continued education? If so, this role within our Professional Services team could be just for you. We are seeking to recruit a Manager for Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to work alongside our pastoral leaders and colleagues and across all age groups (11-18). We have 400 learners in our thriving Sixth Form. The successful candidate will support and deliver effective careers guidance, careers education and information for pupils and students, facilitating and enhancing the delivery of appropriate Gatsby benchmarks. They will design, select and provide curriculum resources, activities and services to meet pupils’ and students’ career needs, as a part of the School’s learning for life programme; and lead on a range of projects which assist and support pupils and students into employment or further and higher education , and act to raise aspiration. Experience of working with young people aged 11-19 is important, and recent knowledge and understanding of careers education is an advantage, though we would welcome applicants who are keen to learn and develop in this area. The successful candidate will be able to motivate others, be proactive and organised, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and external partners.
