We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to take on the role of SENCO alongside teaching within our dedicated team at St Marys. This role is a permanent role teaching in one of our classes with release time to complete SENCo responsibilities across the school. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the provision for pupils with SEND across the school Develop and implement effective SEND policies and strategies Coordinate EHCPs, reviews, and referrals to external agencies Work closely with staff to support high-quality teaching and adaptive practice Provide guidance, training, and support to colleagues Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions and provision The Ideal Candidate Will: Have the NASENCo qualification (or willingness to complete it). Have substantial experience working with children with SEND, including complex needs Successful teaching experience, ideally across the primary phases. Demonstrate strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills Be committed to inclusive education and raising outcomes for vulnerable pupils
