Premises & Maintenance Leader 37 hours per week all year Working closely with the Site Compliance Manager, you will lead and coordinate all non-compliance premises operations, manage the site team, and ensure high standards across buildings and grounds. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and support premises, maintenance, and caretaking staff, including the cleaning function Oversee the maintenance helpdesk system and coordinate responses to staff requests Plan and deliver a programme of planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs Ensure the effective operation, upkeep, and presentation of the school site and grounds Manage site security, including key holding, alarm response, and incident reporting Coordinate site access, lettings, and contractor activities Maintain accurate records, including security logs and key registers Support health & safety and fire arrangements across the site About You We are looking for a candidate who: Has relevant experience in property maintenance, facilities, or a related trade Has experience supervising or leading a team Possesses strong practical maintenance skills across a range of disciplines Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively Has experience using maintenance or helpdesk systems Demonstrates a proactive, solution-focused approach Communicates effectively with staff, contractors, and external agencies A relevant trade qualification (or working towards one) and experience in a school or similar environment would be advantageous.
