The Kingsbrook School Part of the Insignis Academy Trust We have an exciting opportunity to join our successful, vibrant community as a Cover Supervisor Full time, permanent 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year Salary: Bucks Pay Range 4 £26,697 - £28,660 (full time equivalent £31,424 - £33,735) Start date: September 2026 Closing date: Friday 8th May 2026 at 12 noon At Insignis Academy Trust we are looking for a Cover Supervisorfor The Kingsbrook School who is eager and committed to supporting Students’ education. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join the growing pastoral team in this flagship new school in Aylesbury, with opportunity to bring ideas and contribute to the continued development of student support, and the culture and ethos of the school as it enters it’s fifth year of operation in 2026-27. Opened in September 2022 to 180 year 7 students, the school will grow by each year of entry until full in 2027-28, and so a new member of the team is required to provide support for absent teaching colleagues, alongside the cover manager for our next cohort. Located at the heart of the Kingsbrook Estate in Aylesbury, the school boasts state of the art facilities across the mainstream school and a purpose-built Inclusion Unit for children with additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The key function of this role is to provide high quality supervision of classes in the absence of the subject teacher, thus supporting the diverse learning needs of all students at The Kingsbrook School. The successful candidate may be interested in a future teaching career and wishing to gain experience. They will have excellent relational skills, and enjoy working with young people. Full training will be given.
