School are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Science, who is
committed to making a positive difference to the lives of children in a non-mainstream environment particularly
those with an ASD diagnosis. The
ideal candidate will be able to teach Science to a Level 2 and will have
experience of adaptive teaching to make Science learning accessible to all.
Flexibility and the ability
to work collaboratively with colleagues are key to success, and this role may
well suit someone who is looking to further develop their pedagogy in a
creative, non-mainstream environment.

Be
an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire others Have
a commitment to high standards Have
a proven record of good academic results with students of all abilities Display
innovation and an ability to inspire students with a range of needs Work
collegiately to support the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum Preferably
have knowledge and experience of working
with students with ASD Preferably
have experience of teaching across KS2, KS3 and 4 Ensure
the students are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment Provide
critical analysis of the progress, intervention and achievement for all
children Actively
participate in and offer areas of staff CPD.
