The Role As the Lead Teacher for FINCH, you will do more than deliver a curriculum; you will create a sanctuary for learning. This rewarding leadership post involves delivering high-quality teaching in core subjects (English, Maths, and Science) while empowering students with neurodivergent profiles, including Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs . You will lead a dedicated team to drive strategic curriculum development, ensuring that personalised learning and successful reintegration are at the heart of everything we do. About You We are looking for a resourceful, energetic, and empathetic leader who: Has significant experience supporting students with SEMH and/or ASD , viewing behaviour as a form of communication. Can deliver inclusive, high-quality teaching that adapts to the unique sensory and emotional needs of our learners. Possesses the leadership flair to mentor staff and collaborate with the wider school community. Is deeply committed to raising achievement through a flexible, person-centered approach.
