We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Food Technology to join our Design and Technology department. This role focuses on delivering engaging lessons in Food Science and Technologies. Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in Food Science/Technologies for Key Stage 3/4 students. - Inspire students to develop practical skills, creativity, and an understanding of food technology principles. - Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. - Contribute to the development of curriculum resources within the department. - Support the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities as appropriate. Skills and Qualifications: - A relevant degree or qualification related to Food Science, Nutrition, or Design & Technology. - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively. - Organisational skills for lesson planning and classroom management. - Willingness to learn new teaching methods and adapt resources for diverse learner needs. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
