The Role You will: Teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons Use assessment effectively to secure strong progress and outcomes Contribute to curriculum development and innovative practice within the department Play an active role in the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced team What We’re Looking For Holds QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in History or a related subject Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for History Uses creative and inclusive teaching strategies to engage students of all abilities Is reflective, ambitious and committed to continual professional development Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to department and whole-school improvement Shares our values of Trust, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Kindness and Effective Communication Applications are welcome from both early career and experienced teachers.
