Job title: Teacher of Psychology (additional hours may be available depending on subject offer) Salary: MPS / UPS + London Fringe Hours: Part-time / full-time (dependent on subject offer) Responsible to: Head of Science Faculty Start Date: September 2026 (1st July for an ECT) We require an enthusiastic teacher of Psychology to teach A level in a supportive and friendly Science Faculty that achieves excellent results and high standards. This is a part-time role and candidates interested in teaching additional hours should make this clear in their statement of application, referring to subjects that they may be able to offer. See our website for our full curriculum offer. We are looking for a creative and imaginative individual to help all our students to ‘achieve their potential and enjoy the journey’. The collaborative work environment in the Science Faculty encourages continuous professional development and career progression for staff. We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced staff. STEM subjects are highly valued and we are determined to challenge traditional stereotypes and to help our pupils break through any glass ceilings they may encounter. Psychology is a very well established subject with a strong uptake in the Sixth Form. Many of our pupils go ont to study Psychology at University. The Faculty is exceptionally well resourced, with new laboratories and modern equipment. The enrichment offered to pupils is extensive including an annual Science Fair, Brain Day and many other themed activities, trips, visits and guest speakers. The collaborative work environment in Science encourages continuous professional development and career progression for staff.
