As our Year 1

Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging,

high-quality learning experiences through play, exploration and inquiry

Create a warm, stimulating

classroom environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired

Support children’s transition

from EYFS into Year 1 in a thoughtful and developmentally appropriate way

Build strong relationships with

children, families and colleagues

Observe children carefully and

use assessment to inform next steps in learning

Foster independence, resilience,

creativity and a love of learning

Work collaboratively as part of a

committed and supportive team
