Part of the Sapientia Education Trust     Salary – Support Staff Scale 7–11, £18,406 - £19,967 actual pa (£26,403 - £28,142 FTE)   Permanent   Part Time   30 hours per week   Term Time plus 1 week      Framingham Earl High School has over 100 staff dedicated to providing a First Class education. The School prides itself in delivering education through strong academic lessons and a nurturing ethos which encapsulates a wide range of community and co-curricular links. The School’s most recent Ofsted in 2022 resulted in a rating of “Good”. GCSE results in 2024 put us in the top schools in Norfolk with 79% gaining Grade 4 plus and 57% gaining Grade 5 plus in English and Maths  Framingham Earl High School is a member of the Sapientia Education Trust (SET). SET is an expanding multi-academy Trust with 13 Primary and 9 Secondary schools.   THE ROLE   We are seeking to appoint a part-time Science Technician to assist in the organization, compliance and development of the Science department.  The Science Technician team work with the Science teachers and wider technician team as well as the Trust H&S team.  Previous experience working as a Science Technician is not a requirement of the role. We are able to train the suitable applicant to be able to fulfil duties   The first six months of employment shall be a probationary period, and employment may be terminated by the Trust during this period at any time on one week’s prior written notice. The Trust may, at its absolute discretion, extend this period for up to a further six months.
