School Cleaner

At Ramridge Primary School, we pride ourselves on our bright, stimulating learning environment and the high standards of care and cleanliness maintained throughout the school. We are seeking part-time cleaners to join our premises team as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who: Is committed to helping maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school environment Has high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Is friendly and able to work effectively as part of a team Is reliable, enthusiastic, trustworthy and flexible Is proactive and able to work on their own initiative Is able to undertake physical tasks, including lifting and bending The role includes cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, messy play areas, kitchens and toilets. Duties will include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning tables, chairs and floors, and the safe disposal of waste. The working hours are 3:45pm to 6:15pm, Monday to Friday. This is a 50-week contract. Please note that the February and October half-term breaks are designated “down weeks”, during which no work is required and are designated as annual leave within the 50-week contract. There will also be a requirement to work during some school holiday periods, including three weeks during the summer break.
