Cover Supervisor Three or four days per week ; 6.5 hours per day (8.20 am to 3.20 pm, with 30 minutes’ break) Term-time (38 weeks) plus two training days Pay Scale: H5 (Points 9-14) Actual paid salary based on four days per week, term-time: £16,851 - £17,946 We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our well-established Cover Team. You will supervise classes in the absence of a teacher, ensuring that the work set is completed to a good standard and that behaviour is in line with our Behaviour for Learning policy. We are a friendly team in a supportive and successful school where support staff are highly valued. Personal development for all staff is given high priority. The successful applicant will be confident and supportive with good interpersonal skills, and have an empathy with young people; previous experience in a role working with young people will be a considerable advantage. Nonetheless, extensive training will be provided under the supervision of our Lead Cover Supervisors.
