Teaching Assistant - Maternity Cover 32.5 hours per week Grade 3 SCP3-SCP4 REQUIRED: 01/09/2026 St Mark’s Catholic Primary School is a heavily over-subscribed one form entry school situated in the heart of the community it serves. We are incredibly proud of what we achieve having being judged as ‘Outstanding’ in our most recent RE, Collective Worship and Catholic Life Inspection and has a very strong Catholic ethos and excellent Parish links. Our school was last inspected by Ofsted in February 2025, when we were judged to be a good school in all areas. St Mark’s provides a happy and safe environment where everyone, children and adults alike, are provided with support and opportunities to ensure you can achieve your God given potential. Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Level 2 Teaching Assistant, to cover a maternity leave position. The role will be to lead small group interventions; be able to support the learning of pupils and be able to evidence the impact of your work upon their learning in order to plug gaps and accelerate progress. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to join our school. The successful applicant will be an inspiring, confident, committed teaching assistant who has the interests of our children at the heart of all they do, securing strong outcomes for all.
