Class Teacher (Resource Base)

Bellefield C of E Primary & Nursery School is looking for a passionate and energetic Class Teacher who will be deployed with the Resource Base. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils. The successful candidate will plan and deliver high‑quality, well‑structured lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, communication needs and global developmental delay. The role involves creating a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes progress, independence, positive behaviour and strong self‑esteem. The post holder will assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, contributing to EHCP processes and leading Annual Reviews where required. Working closely with teaching assistants, parents, mainstream colleagues and external agencies, the teacher will ensure coordinated and personalised support for every child. Strong behaviour management strategies will be implemented in line with school policy to support learning and wellbeing. The role also includes contributing to the wider life of the school, including curriculum development, enrichment activities and whole‑school initiatives. Safeguarding, professional development and upholding the school’s ethos and values are integral responsibilities of the post.
