Since opening in 2023, the ESP has become a cornerstone of our school, supporting up to eight children from Early Years through to Year 2.  Our provision offers a nurturing, autism-friendly environment specifically designed for pupils with EHCPs whose primary needs are in communication and interaction. As a recipient of the  National Nurturing Schools Award , we pride ourselves on a  relationships-based approach  where every child is supported to reach their specific EHCP targets through a bespoke, exciting curriculum.  Who We Are Looking For   We want a practitioner who is passionate about improving outcomes and is eager to develop their expertise in a specialist classroom within a mainstream setting.  Core Requirements:   Expertise:  Knowledge and experience in teaching children with SEND, specifically those with a diagnosis of Autism (ASD).  Communication Specialist:  Experience supporting communication needs through various methods—ideally including  Sign-along, TEACCH, PECS, and Attention Autism .  Dynamic Teaching:  An "Excellent" teacher who can deliver  Quality First Teaching  and adapt dynamically to varying needs.  Leadership:  The confidence to direct Teaching Assistants and collaborate with external agencies and the wider school team.  Commitment:  A drive to create bespoke learning plans and a desire to progress your career within SEND provision.  Why Join Suffield Park?   You will be joining a "caring team" that values collaboration over isolation.
