The Role We are seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of Design Technology to join our dedicated team. You will: Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons in multiple disciplines across KS3 and GCSE. Plan, assess, and provide feedback to promote student progress. Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring lessons are inclusive and inspiring. Support the holistic development of students academically, socially, and emotionally. Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology and up-to-date awareness of curriculum developments. Ability to teach across the 11-16 age range, inspiring and motivating students. Excellent classroom management, planning, and assessment skills. Desirable Experience in planning school trips or innovation in interactive teaching methods. Awareness of current GCSE syllabus development. Personal Attributes Passionate about student learning and achievement. Strong emotional resilience, positivity, and professional integrity. Ability to build constructive relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider community.
