The post requires someone who will provide strategic leadership within the PE/Vocational Courses, with a clear focus on continuing to drive improvements in teaching as well as providing an extra-curricular and enrichment programme for our pupils. The school is looking to appoint a well-qualified, excellent classroom practitioner to lead, manage and develop the provision of PE and vocational courses within the school, and to ensure appropriate monitoring, analysis and evaluation. We welcome applications from teachers with experience of leading improvement in students’ attainment and progress. The successful candidate should be a teacher of imagination and commitment, able to teach PE and vocational to GCSE/BTEC level, and keen to work with pupils of all abilities in a well-resourced department.
