PE Teaching Assistant Apprentice

PE Apprentice - St Patricks Catholic Primary School Grade: Romero Apprenticeship scale (paid pro rata to term time working) Hours: 37 hours a week, Fixed Term Apprenticeship Contract term time only We are looking for a PE & Sports Apprentice to work within St Patricks Catholic Primary School which is part of the Romero Catholic Academy. You will support teachers with PE and sport including extra curricular activities during and after school to help raise attainment and fitness throughout the school. The successful candidate will: Be a dedicated professional with the ability to inspire our students Set high standards for themselves and others Be committed to promoting the Catholic ethos of our school; Be a team player with good interpersonal skills and able to multi-task in a busy environment; Be energetic, enthusiastic and caring; Be able to show excellent organisational and communication skills with both students and colleagues Some experience in delivering sports coaching would be an advantage Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
