This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and skilled leader to shape and develop a thriving Mathematics department, strengthen whole‑school numeracy, and inspire a genuine love of Mathematics across our through school community (Years 5-11). The Role The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for Mathematics, establishing a clear and compelling vision for teaching, learning and assessment across all phases. Central to the role is the design and implementation of a coherent, carefully sequenced and ambitious Maths curriculum from Year 5 to Year 11, ensuring: Strong conceptual understanding Secure fluency Confident problem-solving Clear progression between key stages Working in line with the school’s knowledge rich pedagogical approach, the Head of Mathematics will ensure consistently high expectations, excellent outcomes for all pupils, and learning experiences that enable students to flourish academically and personally within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
