Teacher of Science

Applicants should be able to offer the teaching of Science to GCSE standard. Position is suitable for an ECT.

The Science Department are a highly effective department whose passion and dedication to their job is outstanding. Teachers are encouraged to try new things and think outside of the box to give students the most engaging experience of Science at Endon High School both inside and outside of the classroom. All pupils are taught to a higher standard throughout KS3, and this is also true of the vast majority in KS4. This is to ensure that children are stretched and challenged to achieve their best at GCSE. As a result, many pupils go on to study Science beyond GCSE and are highly successful in doing so. All students complete the GCSE course and achieve either 2 or 3 Science GCSEs.

The school is also proud of its rich extended schools programme called the Endzone with numerous clubs and activities available each day for an hour after school.
