Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Required for a September 2026 start, we are seeking to appoint a dedicated, well-qualified and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our SEN Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our students to overcome barriers to learning. They will need to establish and maintain strong working relationships with students, their families and external agencies. The working pattern for this position is Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm. You will be working school term time plus one week which equates to 39 working weeks per year. The Academy Ormiston Bushfield Academy is a good school, conveniently located close to the Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire & Lincolnshire borders, and benefits from excellent road and rail links.
