Teacher of Mathematics

We have a vacancy for a
confident, enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced teacher of Mathematics
to join a large, successful department.
The successful candidate
will:
be an excellent Mathematics teacher across the full age
and ability range have a passionate commitment to making Mathematics stimulating
and relevant for all be familiar with Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 National Curriculum,
GCSE and Advanced Level requirements be passionately committed to making Mathematics relevant,
accessible and rewarding for all be a skilled ICT practitioner be willing to contribute to the wider life of the School have the calibre and ambition to develop his or her career
in and beyond this post
Mathematics plays a
prominent part in the life of the School and consistently achieves excellent results.
The Mathematics Department has fifteen
members of staff and dedicated administration support. You will be joining an excellent department and as part of
this team you will have the opportunity to teach across the age and ability
range up to and including A level. This is the ideal post for a candidate who
wishes to develop their skills and broaden their experience within a supportive
environment which will allow them to excel.

successful candidate will be required to complete Disclosure and Barring
Service declarations in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997. All

This
post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful
applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS certificate. As the
post will involve regulated activity with children, it is a criminal offence to
apply for this post if you are included on the children’s barred list held by
the DBS.
Amendments
to the Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain spent
convictions and cautions are “protected”. These are not subject to the
disclosure to employers and cannot be taken into account. Guidance and criteria

Shortlisted
