We are looking for an Attendance Administrator to join us at Bournville Academy. The postholder will play a key role in promoting excellent attendance and punctuality by maintaining accurate records, supporting students and families, and working closely with pastoral and safeguarding teams. Applicants will join a well-led and motivated team committed to continuous improvement. Key responsibilities will include to: Manage and maintain daily attendance registers using the school’s MIS  Monitor attendance and punctuality across all year groups Follow up absences promptly with parents/carers via phone, email, and letters  Identify and report attendance concerns, persistent absence, and patterns of lateness  Support attendance panels, meetings, and interventions  Ensure all attendance procedures meet statutory requirements and safeguarding standards  Liaise with tutors, Heads of Year, DSLs, and the Local Authority as required  Bournville School is a vibrant and diverse school. We are an ambitious school and value enthusiastic and hardworking staff. It is a very exciting time to join us.
