Hooton Pagnell All Saints Church of England Primary School · Doncaster, Yorkshire and the Humber
As Headteacher, I am proud to lead a school where we are committed to providing a high-quality education that enables every child to thrive. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher who shares our ambition and belief that all pupils can achieve highly. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented practitioner to join our team, with the year group placement—Reception, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2—to be determined based on the strengths, experience and expertise of the successful candidate. We are looking for a teacher with a strong understanding of effective pedagogy and child development, whether in the Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will have the ability to create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued, supported and inspired to achieve their best. Depending on the successful candidate’s experience, the role may involve teaching in our Reception class, where you will play a key role in ensuring children make a strong start to their education, fostering curiosity, independence and a love of learning through purposeful play and well-planned adult-led experiences. Alternatively, the role may be within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, where you will deliver engaging, well-sequenced lessons that challenge and inspire pupils, while ensuring all learners make strong progress and develop confidence in their abilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement, using assessment effectively to inform teaching, and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all pupils. We are seeking a teacher with strong subject knowledge, a commitment to high standards, and the ability to ensure every child can succeed. Beyond the classroom, you will contribute positively to the wider life of the school and Trust, building strong relationships with colleagues, families and the community. We value reflective practitioners who are committed to their own professional development and to working collaboratively to secure the best outcomes for all pupils. In return, you will be supported by a dedicated leadership team and a Trust that prioritises staff wellbeing, professional growth and collaboration. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and ambitious school community and to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our children. Helen Thorpe
