Assistant Principal – Pastoral & Designated Safeguarding Lead

The role in a nutshell This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an ambitious leader. The post holder will have strategic responsibility for pastoral care, attendance and safeguarding across the academy, including oversight of the Getting Ready Strategy and the careers programme. A key focus will be to ensure that every pupil feels a strong sense of belonging and is able to access timely, effective pastoral support and intervention. Through this work, the post holder will help ensure pupils feel safe, supported, and able to thrive. The candidate The ideal candidate will demonstrate the appropriate knowledge and experience for the role, alongside a clear commitment to ongoing professional development.
