Contracted hours : 32.5 hours a week Contract type : Temporary, Maternity Cover Pay grade : Main Scale 1-6 Annual Pay: £31,650- £43,607 The duties for this role will include: Support to Pupils: Working in close partnership with the Key Stage lead and team, to ensure a consistent approach throughout. Undertaking full teaching responsibility for a class. Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, attainment and progression of pupils. Planning purposeful and engaging lessons that include both outdoor and indoor opportunities. Creating a classroom provision where children work in a purposeful and stimulating environment that supports a wide range of learning needs. Working alongside Key Stage support staff to ensure every child is engaged and safe. Support to School (this list is not exhaustive and should reflect the ethos of the school) Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons you are responsible for or come into contact with. Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
