About Us Whalley Range 11-18 High School is a popular, high-performing, multicultural inner-city girls’ comprehensive school with a thriving Sixth Form, located close to Manchester city centre. The Role We are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of English to join our successful 11-18 all‑girls school from August 2026. You will deliver high‑quality English teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that challenge all learners and secure strong progress. As part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking faculty, you will contribute to curriculum development, use evidence‑informed pedagogy, and uphold high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement. This is a permanent, full‑time post, suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers alike, with strong support for professional growth. You will have strong subject knowledge, high expectations of pupils, and a commitment to equality, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
